ELA/Math season is upon New York; make sure your child is making great strides in student achievement.
Bright Kids always recommends parents to build their children’s core skills through everyday activities. For example, while grocery shopping, talk to your child about the different colors and shapes that you see, as well as relationships between items and their use. However, many parents have still found it to be difficult to teach their children these skills, without guidance and instruction. These books have been created to help parents with building the skills their children need and are tailored to what is found in the OLSAT, ERB, Stanford-Binet, and other exams students are required to take.
Due to crowded schools and the increase of standardized exams, students can sometimes be treated like a number. But Bright Kids realizes that every student is unique and different. We tailor and customize every curriculum to meet individual needs. We never recommend more tutoring sessions than a child needs. Students are not made to be robots here but instead, we evaluate them based on their own learning styles.
It takes about 10 days for a caterpillar to transform into a butterfly, but that is a lengthy amount of time, considering it takes about 28 to 38 days for a butterfly to complete its life cycle. Growth takes time and we recognize that at Bright Kids. When it comes to test preparation, we don’t recommend cramming, but push for individualized curriculums tailored to the child’s needs, which span over several weeks. Whether you know a student that will be taking the ELA/Math Exam this spring, or another standardized test, let Bright Kids help you make a tutoring plan to ace the test.
